What You'll Do
- Support the team in planning and executing curricula activities, promoting active child participation.
- Actively engage in classroom activities, maintaining a clean and organized learning environment.
- Establish and maintain regular communication with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
- Model good hygiene and self-help behaviors to encourage positive habits in children.
- Ensure a smooth transition for children from home to the child care center on a daily basis.
- Adhere to all center policies and state regulations at all times.
- Develop and maintain a professional growth plan to continuously improve teaching practices.
Requirements
- Must pass a full background check.
- Must clear health screening.
- Ability to work well with others.
- High energy.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Must earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential by December 2019.
