What You'll Do
- Encourage positive self-concepts and understanding of others among children, promoting a sense of community and empathy.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for children by sanitizing toys and play equipment.
- Engage with children during play activities, observing and monitoring their interactions.
- Keep detailed records of individual children's progress, including daily observations and information about their activities, meals, and medications.
- Teach children essential health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and using the restroom.
- Develop children's language skills through reading and storytelling, and introduce them to various artistic activities, like painting, drawing, and crafts.
- Organize and maintain activity areas, ensuring that toys and materials are easily accessible and securely stored.
- Prepare bottles and formulas for children, adhering to proper sterilization procedures.
- Assist children with dressing, bathing, and changing diapers, promoting independence and self-care.
- Support children's educational development by helping them with homework and other academic tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment by performing housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and dish washing.
- Ensure a safe play environment by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians, keeping them informed about daily activities, behaviors, and any related concerns.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the center by performing general administrative tasks.

Benefits
Personal Time Off:
One year of service earns eight (8 hour) paid days off
