About This Role
A Perfect Start Child Care is hiring for a support staff member role in Darlington. Compensation is $11 – $12/Hr. Candidates need no formal early childhood credentials to start.
We are seeking experienced infant and toddler educators to join our team. To be considered, you must have at least 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare setting and pass a background check. In addition, you will be required to provide physical and TB test results. A high school diploma or equivalent is also necessary for this role.

What You'll Do
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment at all times, adhering to a 1:4 caregiver-to-child ratio. The teacher will also be expected to keep the room clean and organized, ensure accurate tracking of children's activities, and exhibit a positive attitude and dependable nature.
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED, Physical and TB test, 6 months experience working in a licensed childcare facility, Background check
Nice to Have
A strong background in early childhood education, knowledge of child development theories, and experience with lesson planning and curriculum development are all highly desirable qualities in our ideal candidate.
