We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood development journey. What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development aligned with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management.
  • Deliver engaging lessons in literacy education, math, physical education, and other core subjects tailored to preschool learners’ developmental stages.
  • Use classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and foster respectful interactions among students.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings or written updates.
  • Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student assessments, standardized testing results, lesson plans, and classroom activities.
  • Provide toddler care when needed, including supervision during playtime, meals, and rest periods.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field
  • Valid teaching certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC)
  • Must clear a comprehensive background check through the state licensing body
